pH Neutralization

From microfiltration to ozone additions, your systems will breathe a sigh of relief with the addition of pH neutralization.

Decrease zinc consumption, improve product cosmetics, and 100% proprietary design

How it works.

Your operation is one-of-a-kind. As such, our systems aren’t a one-size-fits-all design. We’re here to change your game, not just the game in general.

Below are just three examples of our capabilities.

What’s best for you?

Continuous Batch.

Neutralizes and filters an acidic waste solution containing solids.

Firstly, your waste solution enters the Mixer Tank.

The Mixer Tank utilizes state-of-the-art pH monitors and controllers to activate the metering pump, always delivering the exact amount of caustic NaOH to neutralize the incoming, acidic solution.

After peroxide-treatment, the solution is pumped through crossflow Microfilters.

The suspended solids travel through the inside of the membranes and return to the Concentrate Tank or are discharged to an IBC Tote or Filter Press.

The solids-free flux solution permeates the membranes and returns to the flux tank or process tank.

Throughout the day, a small quantity of cleaned solution is driven backward across the membranes to clear the solids build-up.

Over time, the permeate volume slows and the membranes need regeneration.  To regain full capacity, the system is shut down for 4 hours while 5 gallons of 5% HCl flushes through the membranes to restore original performance.

This membrane reactivation is usually done on a weekly basis.

Neutralization & Filtration.

A batch system that neutralizes and filters an acidic waste solution containing solids.

The first two tanks use pH monitors and controllers to activate the metering pumps, delivering the proper amount of caustic NaOH to neutralize the incoming, acidic solution.

An oxidizing agent added to the Neutralized Waste Tank begins creating insoluble solids.

After peroxide-treatment, the solution is pumped through crossflow Microfilters.

The suspended solids travel through the inside of the membranes and return to the Concentrate Tank or are discharged to an IBC Tote or Filter Press.

Continuous Neutralization.

This continuous system neutralizes and filters an acidic waste solution containing solids.

The waste solution enters the Neutralization Tank first, where the pH can be adjusted.

Next, the pH adjusted waste stream is pumped into the Polymer Blend Tank, where polymer is added.

After peroxide-treatment, the solution is pumped through crossflow Microfilters.

The suspended solids travel through the inside of the membranes and return to the Concentrate Tank or are discharged to an IBC Tote or Filter Press.
