unflinching values.
always pushing the boundaries.
The Beta Story.
From a backyard shed in 1980 to our global network today, we’ve maintained the same leadership and same dedication to outstanding service.
It all started in
1980
humble beginnings.
Popcorn for Christmas.
In 1978, Beta founder and CEO Bryan Cullivan finished up his 5-year project designing Tektronix’s new high-tech plant as their environmental operations manager.
Seeking something more, Bryan poured concrete, paneled the walls, and installed plumbing in his backyard shed. The first Beta Control Systems manufacturing facility was born.
The early years: company parties with cardboard box tabs for plates, popcorn for Christmas, and engineering solutions that nobody had done before.
still making waves.
On the bleeding edge.
As Beta grew, our resolve to be ahead of the leading edge grew in tandem.
From using the first ever Texas Instruments PLC in the 80s to winning the Department of Energy’s NICE3 award in 1996 for saving the USA millions of gallons of acid, Beta leads the industry with genuine vigor.
Still making waves, still solving problems before billing. “That’s what it was all about from 1980 on,” says Bryan.
2024
still looking to the future.
